JOB PURPOSE

The Project Delivery Engineering (PDE) Manager is a catalyst for transformation across the Foods NA business, leading the delivery of high visibility innovations that drive growth, strengthen brand superiority, and expand capabilities across a portfolio over €2.4 billion. This role provides end to end engineering leadership to ensure the successful execution of priority innovations across the Condiments, CAMM, UFS, and Contract Manufacturing (CM) networks, delivering with speed, excellence, and measurable impact. The Foods North America footprint includes three UL factories and over twenty contract manufacturers, producing over 400,000 tons across more than 800 SKUs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the project engineering lead for Foods NA’s most prominent brands—such as Hellmann’s and Knorr—the PDE Manager is responsible for:

  • Delivering capital expenditure (capex) projects totaling over €50 million annually
  • Leading multiple innovation projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing more than fifty trials per year
  • Building strong partnerships with both on site factory teams and strategic partners

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline
  • 7+ years of engineering experience in the FMCG, food, or related industries
  • Project management experience within a manufacturing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical understanding of emulsions, processing, and food manufacturing technologies
  • Experience collaborating with R&D and other cross-functional teams

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
