JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to[Manage Global Logistic Automation Portfolio: Responsible for the procurement management ofglobal  logisticswarehouse R&A (Robotic and Automation) investments, including loading/ Unloadingsystem,  AGV/AMR, ASRS, automated sorting, and intelligent warehouse software projects... The role encompasses portfolio strategy development aligned with BG strategy, supplier development, tendering, contract management, supplier relationship management, and business coordination related to procurement during project implementation].You’llbe part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Lead andparticipateinProcurement relatedproject meetings.

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with Global and Regional Logistic Engineering teams.

  • Serve as the main contact between Market Capex Procurement Managers andGlobalLogistic Engineering teams.

  • Support market procurement managers in supplier escalation,expediting, and claims.

  • Lead technology-sensitive projects and support quality, hygiene, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

Procurement Strategy & Execution

  • Assistin developing and implementing Capex & MRO Procurement strategies in collaboration withEngineering and MarketPartners.

  • Lead procurement planning, sourcing projects, and negotiation of tenders and contracts (including e-tendering).

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and Schedule of Authority.

  • Conduct data analysis to inform negotiation strategies and supplier selection.

  • Procurement Insights and Analysis: Understand portfolio strategies and procurement requirements; Industry, global Strategy & Insights teams, economic, competition and supplier insights.

  • Procurement Strategy Formulation: DevelopingPortfoliostrategy; Develop supplier strategies; Integrating procurement strategy into the business

  • Procurement Strategy Execution and Performance Management: Competitive bidding and tendering; Supplier negotiation; Supplier qualification andon-boarding; Contractual supplier engagement; Supplier performance measurement and management

  • Partnering with Suppliers to Win: Attract, select,manageand motivate partners;Identifyingvalue creating opportunities.

Supplier Development & Management

  • Develop andmaintaina global supplier base for warehouse automation equipment and systems, focusing on key markets.

  • Organize supplier research, technical exchanges, and capability assessments to foster innovation and localization.

  • Oversee supplier performance through regular evaluations and resource optimization.

  • Lead, advise, and support negotiations for global technologies, and manage claims with suppliers.

  • Actively engage with suppliers at a strategic level, providing feedback andidentifyingnew opportunities.

Continuous Improvement & Systems

  • Identifyand agree on cost savings and cash benefit generation based on sourcing strategies and compliance management.

  • Continuously enhance procurement processes and ways of working through close collaboration with the procurement portfolio team, market teams, and engineering.

  • Oversee updates to portfolio trackers for savings, cash flow, projects, and contracts.

  • Ensuretimelysupplier onboarding and resolution of overdue payments.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bacheloror abovelevel;

    • ​Senior experience in Procurement, Supply Management, preferably within a technical procurement position;

    • Experience in setting up and managing complexlegal contracting,projectand relationship management;

    • Strong communicator with experience in working successful in virtual team environments;

    • Superior stakeholder management, both internal and external;

    • Good negotiation skills for both external and internal negotiations;

    • Ability tooperateindependently;

    • Ability tooperatein a largeorganizationwith complex decision structures / remote relationships;

    • Methodical and organized;

    • Proactive and positive team player;

    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills;

    • Good skills MS Office (more than average on MS Excel); SharePoint; sap and most common tools available for office and communication automation ;

    • Ability toanalysesourcing data andconceptualisesourcing strategies to identify / propose sourcing opportunities while setting Portfolio strategy or developing negotiation strategies; 

    • Influencing skills to promote ideas and concepts back to stakeholders and budget holders in a Business Partner capacity;

    • Attention to detail and ability to assimilate, appraise and extract information quickly when faced with increasing data inputs;

    • Problem solving skills toanalyseinformation to evaluate internal demand and external supplier information and extract critical cost opportunities.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Specific procurement and or engineering education preferred;

    • Oversea or global environment working experience preferred 

    • International FMCG company working experience preferred
