Sr. Engineering Executive

To support I&C Manager on Automation at site to ensure 100% availability of Plant and Facilities, control system through effective maintenance and management of control system for achieving the Site KPI’s. DIMENSIONS OF THIS ROLE • Compliance with batch recording and data integrity for manufacturing plant. • Training of people in the new concepts being introduced in the field of Automation. • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all new developed and test environments used. • Responsible for digital transformation of process manufacturing and utility to further digitize operations and minimize downtime, improve process, enhance data management, data sharing reporting and increase profitability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and automation changes to be done. • Perform risk analysis and FMEA for proposed and new changes related to automation. • Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated changes for various Software. changes, i.e., perform automated dynamic testing. • Troubleshooting of Automation issues and bugs in SIEMENS PCS7/ TIA system & Rockwell automation. • Integrate digital technologies through dashboards to provide an innovative solution for process monitoring. • Identify, define and execute projects for adapting the latest technologies and tools. • Sustain factory digital initiatives taken before WEF assessment such as Digital Twin, AR/VR, and IIOT applications. • Support implementation of IIoT for assigned departments. Accountable for executing data analytics and visualization required for factory digitization • Partner with Plant functions to understand the data control, analysis and visualization needs and provide sustainable solutions. • Partner with the UniOps/IT Team in effective execution of the Industry 4.0 initiatives at Sonepat factory. • Ensure the automation system on DCS for the complete unit is available and upgraded whenever required. Development, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Automation Systems (Siemens/Rockwell). • To implement factory cybersecurity of OT devices and upkeep factory IT/OT firewall.
