Job Position: Ice Cream GTM SSHE Support Manager - Thailand, Malaysia & Singapore
Location: U-House, Thailand
Function: Supply Chain
Reporting to: Asia SSHE Director

JOB PURPOSE
The GTM SSHE Support Manager role is to provide for the Safety Health and Environment needs for workers and the relevant business units. This include providing SHE leadership and practical support while driving SHE improvement program across non-manufacturing operation in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

The Go to Market scope includes CD/Sales/Merchandising, R&D, Offices, CMs, Customer Operations and Customer Logistics, Road Safety, etc. across assigned markets.


WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

SHE System Management

  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) system complies with company policies, industry standards, and legislative requirements.

  • SHE Improvement Plans: Develop, monitor, and support the completion of SHE Improvement Plans to enhance safety and health standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Enhance Safety Culture: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the physical environment and foster a proactive safety culture.

  • Training Programs: Develop and schedule comprehensive SHE training programs based on identified needs and gaps.

  • Develop and enforce operational control standards to maintain high safety and health performance.

  • Emergency Preparedness: Lead the emergency preparedness and response program to ensure readiness and effective response to incidents.

Leadership and Consultation

  • Lead and manage consultation structures and committees to ensure effective communication and decision-making.

  • Facilitate and lead working groups dedicated to advancing SHE programs and initiatives.

  • Coordinate site wide SHE communications, including team briefings and updates.

  • Oversee the implementation of all SHE programs and processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Daily SHE Management

  • Day-to-Day Activities: Manage daily SHE activities, including conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, managing actions, and reporting.

  • Perform safety observations and inspections and coordinate the overall safety monitoring program.

  • Conduct regular SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Liaise with internal and external parties to manage communications with injured employees and oversee their rehabilitation process.

  • Complete detailed SHE reporting and conduct data analysis to inform and refine SHE strategies.

  • Offer support, advice, and coaching to management and leadership teams on effective SHE management practices.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience gained through on-the-job learning, particularly in SHE systems management (FMCG industry is preferred)

  • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or a higher qualification in a related field.

  • Strong Safety knowledge for Thailand and understand Malaysia & Singapore legislation

  • Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
