WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Business Development:

  • E2E ownership and gatekeeping of North America hospitality accounts funnel.

  • Aggressively network with hospitality industry decision-makers: North-America based global and regional CPO’s and Guest Experience teams, actively nurturing these relationships.

  • Outside-In: Match buyers’ portfolio and commercial needs with relevant Unilever brands and product categories, and lead a cross-functional Design team to commercialize bespoke solutions.

  • Develop multi-modal partnership framework with international hospitality chains, that creates a long-term strategic relationship.

  • Liaise with Channel Marketing lead to exhibit in key industry events and participation in major international and national Hospitality & Travel events.

• Portfolio Development:

  • Co-lead Hospitality portfolio development with Channel Marketing lead, ensuring key insights, trends and commercial angles are captured.

• RTM Development:

  • Identify and appoint channel partners in North America, and set up incentive structures for deepening distribution.

  • Actively glean and share learnings and best practices across markets, to raise collective knowledge of the team in setting up and managing a ‘right by design’ RTM.

• Key Accounts Management:

  • Develop strong joint business plans with key accounts, with strong cross-functional teams connect – cementing Unilever as a strategic top-of-mind vendor partner among Account’s category teams.

  • Drive program compliance across participating Owners via regular cadence with central Brand, Purchase and Ops teams in each Key Account.

  • Set up a wider cross-functional teams’ liaison with Key Accounts to ‘embed’ a multi-modal partnership in the way-of-working.

  • Work closely with Channel Marketing lead to conduct periodic KA and Channel Partner conferences and product trainings.

• Overall P&L Ownership:

  • Pro-active P&L management: Topline and Bottom-line – liaising closely with Marketing, SC and Finance.

  • Working closely with SC, Finance & R&D on cost-saving opportunities to improve Mix profitability.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Business Development experience in a leading hotel supplies company (preferably a guest amenities player) with proven track record of having hunted and won one or more top-five global hotel chain accounts.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $99,760 to $149,640. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
