We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025

JOB PURPOSE:

Are you a data-oriented professional who can connect the dots to reveal emerging consumer insights to drive growth on ice cream?  In this role, you will represent the voice of the consumer and translate data into actionable insights and craft compelling stories to drive actions for growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support initiatives and address ad-hoc needs through:

  • Applying an outside-in perspective to assess the influences on our category, including macrotrends and economic factors.
  • Performing landscape and competitor analysis
  • Identifying category opportunities and issues
  • Spotting trends
  • Custom research
  • Utilizing past learnings
  • Implementing best practices for analyses

Insight Generation and support for the Brand Pillars/ IC Portfolio by:

  • Uncovering growth opportunities from POS (Point of Sale) and panel data analysis
  • Coordinating with data partners for analytic needs
  • Developing innovation tracking programs

Additional responsibilities:

  • Communicate key insights from large datasets in simple terms to drive actions and improvements
  • Prepare, evaluate, and interpret market data from various sources
  • Collaborate with the US and Global CMI Team on quarterly reporting, ad-hoc requests, and data validation
  • Help manage the rollout of new analytic tools and learning sessions
  • Manage and track department budgets, research credits, and other resource allocations

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Research Proficiency & Project Management: Proficiency in fundamental quantitative and qualitative primary research methodologies, syndicated data, social listening tools and analytic approaches.  Strong skills in project management, end-to-end management of the research process. Manage external suppliers to execute research projects efficiently. 

Insight Generation & Leveraging Research: Comfortable with sales, panel, and other large datasets.  Ability to leverage data sources to deliver actionable learnings and insights against key business objectives and questions. 

Business Acumen: Demonstrates basic knowledge of CPG landscape and develop category expertise.  Exhibits proficiency in identifying opportunities for growth and optimization within the market.

Transformational Storytelling: Persuasive storytelling skills and experience with weaving insights from multiple data sources into a cohesive and compelling narrative. 

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant insights & analytics experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MS Office proficiency required; Highly skilled in Excel (Advanced) and affinity for other analytic tools
  • Experience with POS and Panel Data (Circana, Numerator, NIQ)
  • Project positive attitude with history of dependability, resourcefulness and goal orientation
  • Passionate, Curious attitude, Strong interpersonal skills, Flexible, and Team player
  • Experience in CPG is a plus

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120.. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
