The current North America Home Care business comprises of three brands across three different entities: Seventh Generation, The Laundress in US and VIM brand in Canada managed by Unilever International.
The business has a net revenue of €275m; however, given the extraordinarily large size of the market (+€15 billion), there is massive opportunity for Unilever to grow in this market as shown in the business plan for 2030 in which the revenue is expected to double through strong innovation pipeline and core portfolio.
JOB PURPOSE:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Unilever’s highest growth Business Unit, and largest cell of Beauty and Wellbeing, the Wellbeing Collective. The Wellbeing Collective is the platform responsible for providing centralized services at scale, including Procurement, to the Wellbeing operating companies (OpCos), which include Liquid IV, Nutrafol, Olly, Smartypants, Onnit, Welly, and others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will lead strategic sourcing for Collaborative Manufacturing, including supplier strategy, relationships, compliance, innovation and cost savings initiatives for certain Operating Companies under the Wellbeing Collective, with a particular focus on the US Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) footprint.
Depending on your background and skills, there may be opportunities to support the indirect marketing procurement portfolios within this role, as well.
This job encompasses the following core responsibilities:
To lead strategic sourcing of CM services, through a structured, 7-step sourcing program (Collaborative Procurement Methodology- CPM).
To develop and deliver cost savings programs and initiatives through a continuous improvement program delivered in collaboration with the OpCo’s.
To leverage Unilever’s broader resources, including the Strategy & Insights team, network of portfolio experts, benchmarking capabilities, and technology platforms, including AI, to drive value to the CM portfolio.
To build and maintain strong working relationships with Business Partner Teams, including Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, and others as required to deliver the highest value results at scale
To represent your strategy and sourcing programs before the Contract Board and other senior leadership, including the UPLT, OpCO LTs, and WBC LT, as required to drive alignment and awareness of sourcing programs and key transformational initiatives.
To build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
To build market expertise such that you can bring the best capabilities available in the market to bear for the benefit of the OpCos
A high-energy, collaborative spirit and positive attitude to the WBC team and OpCos
Understand regulatory and legal issues and secure engagement of the appropriate SMEs, at the right time
Be an expert negotiator and thought leader in strategic sourcing
Protect Unilever and the OpCos through deployment of Unilever Purchasing Agreements and Contracts
Develop jointly agreed performance measurement framework with key suppliers including service level agreements and performance penalties. Motivate supply base with rewards/incentives.
Engage with key functional business partners in enabling ongoing supplier relationship management, monitoring, review and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Outstanding communication skills: spoken, visual, and written.
A minimum of a Bachelor Degree Supply Chain, Business, Engineering. MBA is a plus.
Minimum 8 years general business experience in any Supply Chain function but preferably within Procurement (Packaging, Marketing and Business Services, Logistics, Contract Manufacturing)

A very high level of business acumen who can interact with and “speak the language” of senior executives and general managers
Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
