  • Consumer Engagement Centres (CEC): These frontline teams engage directly with consumers across digital and traditional channels, responding to queries and feedback with empathy and precision.

  • Innovation Project Management Office (PMO): A team of expert project managers accelerating innovation speed to market across Unilever’s Business Groups.

  • Marketing Digital Solutions: Designers and architects of scalable marketing technology platforms, like Asset Bank, which houses over 2 million advertising assets.

  • Product Data Management (PDM): Specialists in digitising and orchestrating pack-related data, enabling seamless integration across Unilever’s supply chain and marketing ecosystem.

Position Summary

Lead a team that creates value across all Marketing Hub delivered and connected activities by governing the performance and relationships behind GMS Operations in the markets/BUs whilst driving to a global “To Be” operational model blueprint. This role will focus on ensuring end to end process delivery and transformation, enabled by key technologies, across this ecosystem to create value through better business outcomes for Marketing delivered more efficiently and effectively.

Key Accountabilities of the role include:

  • Shaping operational relationships with BUs & 1U countries within the framework of the global BG and GBS Strategies - ensuring the creation, maintenance and future development of required operational capabilities, releasing Marketers capacity and redefining and industrializing how Unilever work with key partners.​

  • The role will be accountable for the ongoing optimizing of GMS Operations delivered with our Partners to markets/BUs. This will require a rigorous focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement and transformation.

Position Responsibilities (Expected Work)

  • Assuring excellence in Service Delivery to the countries/BUs ​

  • Managing end to end performance metrics and scorecards for all countries from within the team across user experiences, cost, cash and turnover​

  • Managing commercial and contractual relationships with the partner​

  • Ensuring Control frameworks are rigorously adhered to across the whole system (and operationally improved)​

  • Supporting in-market teams on managing and escalating disputes, performance issues and customer related claims (internal and external)​

  • Driving step-change transformation with the Partner network ​

  • Being an active member within the GMS organisation and network to ensure that the appropriate designs (process, tech/data & org) are enhanced to deliver increased value​

  • As transformation programmes are delivered for and by BG’s/BU’s/GBS, ensure the network is able to activate new capabilities​

  • Leading a regional Performance Delivery Team, ensuring they have the mindset and capability to deliver high performance outcomes

Scope

This position will be responsible for a Performance Delivery and Transformation execution team supporting all BU’s and 1U markets across a key geographical region (either Americas, Europe & Middle East or Asia & Africa) engaging with key senior stakeholders both in countries and within the GBS communities.

  • Successful history of Business Partnering within or to a Country/Function.

  • Demonstrable capabilities in creating and managing strong senior relationships, including excellent presentation, influencing and communication skills

  • Complex project management experience

  • Experience of managing financial and business process controls
