Join our team at Odense Factory!
We are hiring a Projects & Engineering Lead for our factory in Odense, where we produce detergents under our strong Home Care brands such as Neutral, Biotex, and OMO. Our goal is to offer the best products in detergents to our consumers and be the best supplier to our customers. Our strong brands stand for quality, service, and innovation.
In this position you will be the owner of all activities related to Projects and Engineering.
As far as Projects are concerned, you will be end-to-end responsible for project implementation, starting from Capital Budget preparation and management, to design, equipment purchase, installation and ramp-up.
Leveraging your strong technical background, you will then lead cross-functional team to drive innovation and improvement plan on our assets and facilities, fulfilling both the needs of the production site and the requests from our market.
As far as Engineering is concerned, you will manage internal and external resources, in order to perform the planned maintenance on production equipment, infrastructures and utilities facilities, respecting all Safety and Law requirements while managing equipment obsolescence.
Moreover, you will be involved in necessary technical intervention in case of emergency or breakdown of the equipment, with the support of external technicians and suppliers, in order to guarantee continuity of our operations.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Develop, deploy and implement plans to ensure the best utilization of assets in the sites as well as supervise and give guidance on the maintenance of such assets
- Lead the Innovation implementation on the site, looking for best alternatives/options of design to manufacturing
- Capital budget preparation and management
- Support innovation delivery as part of regional network
- Create and implement plans to continuously improve site infrastructure needs such as energy, water, treatment, steam and all infrastructure services, contracts and contractors.
- Manage the projects, overhauling and innovation budgets
- Work collaboratively with Production Lead to improve site and line efficiencies and reduce waste
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience in asset maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in project and budget management
- Good knowledge of process and technology/equipment associated with an FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) company
Skills
- Good understanding of the technical basics of production and utilities equipment
- Good knowledge about hygienic design and hygiene in manufacturing
- Developed safety mindset
- Ability to manage contractors and external stakeholders
- Fluent in Danish and English (read and write)
