Sr. Electrical & Instrumentation Executive

🧰 Job Title: Senior Executive – Electrical & Instrumentation

Location: Rajpura Factory, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) Department: Engineering / Maintenance Reporting to: Factory Engineering Manager

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems Management

  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, and distribution networks

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations (CEA, IE Rules)

• Instrumentation & Automation

  • Maintain and calibrate field instruments (flow meters, pressure sensors, temperature transmitters)

  • Support PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for process control and automation

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation assets

  • Analyze breakdown trends and implement corrective actions

• Project Execution

  • Support capex projects related to electrical and instrumentation upgrades

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely execution

• Energy Management

  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement

  • Support sustainability initiatives in line with HUL’s environmental goals

• Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain records of calibration, maintenance, and statutory inspections

  • Ensure audit readiness for internal and external assessments

🧪 Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

• Experience: 5–8 years in FMCG, pharma, or process industries

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety and instrumentation standards

  • Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)

  • Familiarity with TPM, SAP PM, and ISO standards

  • Good communication and team coordination abilities
