JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. If you are structured, analytical and a true ‘dot-connector’ then this role is just for you!

The Genpact Manager acts as the central connector between the local CD teams in BNX and the Genpact organization in India, ensuring strong operational delivery today while continuously building the future of the partnership.

This role combines:

  • Operational ownership – understanding what is happening in the business and ensuring delivery is on track
  • Strategic steering – defining where the collaboration needs to evolve and driving the change required

The Genpact Manager ensures full visibility on performance, quality, and execution, while creating a transparent, open, and accountable collaboration model across teams and geographies.

You report directly into the CD Excellence Manager and work closely with the Assortment Manager and Capability & Automation Specialist to continuously improve ways of working with Genpact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive end-to-end operational excellence across Commercial & Digital (CD) activities, ensuring consistent delivery against agreed service levels, KPIs, and business objectives.
  • Lead the governance of the Genpact partnership (21 FTE), acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring clear accountability, performance management, and escalation processes.
  • Monitor team performance, workload distribution, quality standards, and deadlines, proactively identifying risks and driving timely corrective actions.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of processes, data, and system outputs through strong controls, documentation, and knowledge management practices.
  • Partner closely with local CD teams to understand business needs, capture feedback, and translate requirements into clear actions and priorities for Genpact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation, and increased operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with CD Excellence and key stakeholders to implement scalable, future-fit ways of working that enhance service quality and business value.
  • Establish transparent performance reviews and governance routines that provide visibility, support informed decision-making, and enable continuous optimization.
  • Act as a change champion, ensuring operational improvements are successfully implemented, adopted, and embedded across teams.
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative culture built on ownership, accountability, open communication, and proactive problem-solving.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Customer Development role.
  • Excellent knowledge of TPM tool (Trade Promotions Planning).
  • Strong communication skills, approachable and able to build trust quickly.
  • Fluency in English is a MUST, and in Dutch is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PEGA.
  • Comfortable working with data, KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across different cultures and geographies.

  • Strong ability to switch between operational detail and strategic thinking.
  • Highly structured and analytical, with strong performance management capabilities.
