Context & Main Purpose of Job
This role will be responsible to lead and develop the Total execution strategy for
the assigned Modern Trade customer/account. They will oversee a team of account executives in delivering both Head Office Category Management and execution in the operations aspect of the business.
Key Responsibilities / Focus Areas:
- Develops customer and channel specific plans with cross functional partners from Trade Marketing team, Brand Team, and Operations Team (from ideation, sell-in, on-time and in full execution, and post-activity evaluation.)
- Work closely with Category, Channel Marketing, Supply Chain, and other cross functional partners to ensure that KPIs and activities are implemented on time and in full
- Customer engagement with Top Management and Key DMUs through business reviews, and key partnership occasions to further build business and relationship.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to and has the ability to negotiate both strategically and tactically in an agile fast paced channel.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to grow the category and drive insight-selling backed-up by data to ensure on-time response to market trends and needs.
- Deliver growth generating programs through understanding of shopper, category, and market needs. Effectively analyze the data (internal and external) and to provide data-driven insights and actions.
- Ensure omni-perfect store basics such as shopper-centric availability and replenishment, elevated visibility & merchandising, and effective & exciting activations.
- Manages customer profitability as well as A/R through efficient budget management and regular reconciliation.
- Build capabilities and train the Key Account Managers.
Qualifications:
- With 4 to 6 years of experience in key accounts management or modern trade accounts
- Excellent stakeholder management, customer management and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office apps such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Can do data analysis and present to stakeholders.
- Must be agile and self-motivated with an unrelenting growth mindset
