Reports To: APAC Head of Supply Chain

Job Purpose: The Head of Supply Chain Myanmar will lead end to end supply chain which consists of Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Import/Export, Procurement, 3 multi BU’s sourcing units and manufacturing teams.  S/He is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process of Myanmar, from the procurement of raw materials, manufacturing of high-quality products, deliveries of final products to the customers and manage the entire order to cash process by executing practical, agile, cost-efficient, local solutions while leveraging & respecting Unilever’s global scale, global technology and integrity principles.  The Head of Supply Chain will partner and represent supply chain in both the Myanmar country leadership team and the APAC supply chain leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:


Planning and Customer Service

  • Manage operational planning in innovation & promotion, VIP, FG/RPM stock management, capacity planning.
  • Lead & facilitate S&OP process
  • Manage Customer Service operation including order management, transport management.
  • Navigate and drive SC performance in Service, Cost and Cash
  • Support value creation in total SC

SC business partnering

  • Strategies & Operations – Lead SC agenda and input to the Business
  • Being SC representative in leadership team
  • Provide SC solution according to Business Strategies
  • Take ownership in team engagement, capability building and succession plan.
  • Be a member of IMT to lead safety and security of people and assets.

Leading the Sourcing Units

  • The Head of Supply Chain will lead site operations and people in the factories through OSHE, quality, and improve efficiency and productivity.
  • S/he owns the supply chain target including service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation, OSHE, legal compliance operation, and employee engagement and talent development.
  • S/he is a critical member of the country leadership team to align the business priority and leads Supply Chain performance.
  • S/he will work with Myanmar leadership team and region BU team for business delivery and category strategies.
  • The Head of Myanmar Manufacturing inspires, develops, and leads the local management team to implement and sustain supply chain and category strategies including those in safety, quality, productivity, employee relations, performance management and development of talent.
  • Drives / steers cost saving projects and continuous improvement based on productivity plan.
  • Lead factory and supply chain transformation based on factory master plan.
  • Lead localization capabilities building based on the business needs.
  • Steers investment and maintenance budgets; develops plans for optimizing the use of fixed assets, materials, and human resources.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in Supply Chain role (Manufacturing, Planning & Customer Service, Technology, SHE, Quality, Procurement knowledge)
  • Strong project management and change management experience.
  • Factory leadership experience is mandatory

Leadership:

  • Passion for high performance, personal mastery and resilient.
  • Agility and resilience under volatile market and situation.
  • Strong and agile influencing and stakeholder management skill.
  • Proven experience in accelerating team engagement, capability building and developing future leaders.
  • Fluent English.
  • Fluent Chinese is preferrable.
