Recently there has been several employment scams operating in different parts of the world with people contacting job seekers claiming to represent
Unilever and offer them jobs, while money has been requested and collected as administrative expenses.
Unilever, or any other organization that act on our behalf, will not request payments at any stage of the hiring process.
This fraud is complex and long-established by criminals that target job seekers who want to work in a reputable organization.
These communications are fraudulent and don’t originate from Unilever or Unilever's partners.
To avoid becoming a victim of recruitment fraud you should observe and follow below instructions:
- Do not accept unsolicited offers from people you do not know.
- Do not disclose personal or financial information to anyone you do not know.
- Check the document for grammar error or spelling mistakes. These are often warning signs of a possible scams.
- Be aware of recruiters or agents who use emails other than @Unilever.com
- Hover your mouse over an email address to check the sender's details.
- If the recruiter demands payment from you in any form, please contact your local authority. This is because such cases are highly likely to be fraudulent.
